We’ve created Australia’s very first truly effective, non-toxic, and single-use plastic-free dissolvable cleaning bars. Think Berocca, but for cleaning! You simply fill your Pleasant bottle with hot water, drop in the concentrated cleaning bar, wait for it to dissolve and then get cleaning! We’re a female-owned Aussie start-up that’s looking to change the game by focusing on a bigger purpose, not just profit.
Why:
When Ami had the idea for Pleasant State back in November 2019, she was suffering from chronic and long-term headaches and needed a cleaning solution that allowed her to eradicate plastics and harmful chemicals from her cleaning regime. There was nothing in Australia so she thought - I’ll just go make it. Sian was and is really passionate about the environment and solving the plastic waste epidemic so when Ami proposed the concept, Sian thought it sounded like a no brainer. Together the pair then set out on a mission to prove that doing good was good for business by building a brand that focused on balancing people, planet and profits.
